My muscles were in pain by the end from too much treatment of the same muscle groups. I thought my massage was focused to much on my calves and feet and not enough on my back and neck. I personally enjoyed the beginning more than the end. They start of the massage with pressure over the sheet and then proceed to massage various muscle groups with more focused pressure and massaging. The beds were soft and comfortable and they even have a drawer to hold your belongings. We arrived at the spa at about 7PM, and they helped us into a room right away. I don't think there was a huge difference between the 1.5 hr massage that my husband received and the 1.5 hrs that I received with the reflexology, so it is probably not worth the extra money. I got the 1 hr massage + 30 min reflexology. We will never go to this massage spa again. Perhaps that's why the girls were rough, perhaps they were ring ins! The massage was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. The other unusual thing was that we were asked to pay up front. If we had looked in there first we probably would have walked out. When we looked into the shower the was a centimetre of water in the bottom with yucky stuff floating in the water. There was a huge bath/shower in the room. When the massage finished we were told we could have a shower.
While in the room we could hear people nearby laughing and talking so it wasn't peaceful. The towel placed on my eyes was tattered and falling apart. Her hands were rough and it was not a nice experience. My husband said his therapist had no sequence and the massage was quite rough. It was actually the worst massage that both of us have ever had in Bali. We had a 90 min massage (2 of us in a room together).
